Born in the small town of Hyogo, Japan, Fumi Nakagawa has been inspired by art from a young age. His uncle, a contemporary painter, sparked Fumi's interest and creative side early on. After moving to Osaka, Fumi was inspired by the city's fashion and magazines. It was here that he honed his makeup skills and learned how to enhance the natural beauty of a person through the art of makeup. To progress in his craft, Fumi later moved to New York City, while always retaining his original artistic influences. One of the most reliable and versatile artists in the industry, Fumi's unique style has filled the pages of V Magazine, Interview, i-D, and countless international Vogues.
