Tim Grupp grew up bilingual between New York City and Berlin. Born into a fashion and creative family, with an Austrian father who worked as a fashion photographer and a German mother who pursued a career as a model, Tim was immersed into the industry from an early age. While pursuing a promising athletic career as a wide receiver for the Potsdam Royals, one of Europe's top football teams, Tim's life took an unexpected turn when he was scouted by a modeling agency in Berlin. This catapulted him into the world of fashion and photography, where he quickly made a name for himself. Tim has worked internationally for clients such as GQ France, GQ UK, Numéro Magazine, BSTN, Tom Brady, National Geographic, Highsnobiety etc. From 2017 to 2019 he enrolled at the renowned Ostkreuz School of Photography and started assisting prestige photographers such as Peter Kaaden and Daniella Midenge. Throughout his career Tim has worked alongside Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Avril Lavigne, Jeremy Allen White etc. Tim further progressed his career working in house as an art director and producer for various fashion brands. Tim enjoys engaging in various physical activities such as wakeboarding, boxing, skiing, and tennis.
