James is a leader, entrepreneur, and athlete. Hailing from Washington, DC, James has always had a desire to pave the way. He earned a broadcast journalism degree as a scholarship football player at Penn State University. He transferred his learned skills into different ventures including speaking to youth and peers through his "Check In On Ya Mans Monday" initiative, and starting his own underwear brand, Black Underwear. James is also a married, father of two boys, has run 5 marathons and makes excellent banana bread.
