Mekedalawit was born and raised in Ethiopia, before being scouted and moving to New York City, where she has found herself at the heart of the fashion industry. While living in the city she also finds joy in nature and hiking in her down time. Passionate about the art of creating beautiful spaces, Mekedalawit is pursuing her studies in interior design, honing her skills to combine her love for fashion and architecture. Her Ethiopian heritage, combined with her experiences in New York City, provides a rich tapestry of influences that continues to help her as a model and an aspiring interior designer.
