Bronx born and Texas raised Jourdana Phillips was discovered in a shopping mall at the age of eleven. While in New York she attended New York University to pursue her passion for teaching and graduated with a degree in Childhood Education in 2015. The following year she was signed and her career quickly took off. Her foray into high fashion is every model's dream as she landed an exclusive with YSL, closing their show for Paris Fashion Week and landing the campaign. Phillips' cache of editorials includes Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar among others and she has graced the runway for Balmain, Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Elie Saab, Marc Jacobs, Cushnie, Topshop, Acne Studios, Tod's, Yeezy as well as the Victoria's Secret Fashion show three years in a row. Despite lapping up the accolades in her modeling career, Jourdana is happiest when pursuing her passion for childhood education. She has worked diligently on various projects with several organizations and launched her own initiative One Wonder in January 2020.
