Robert Rogers is a television producer and former professional soccer player. In 2013 he came out as gay, becoming the first pro soccer player in the MLS to come out as homosexual. He is married to writer/director Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon). He is currently living in Los Angeles California where he is Co-Owner of a Menswear Brand called “Halsey” as well as a fashion contributor to Bello Magazine. His soccer highlights include The 2005 NCAA Championship, 2005 NCAA All Freshman Team, 2008 MLS Cup, 2008 MLS Best XI, 2008 Beijing Olympics, and 18 US National Team Appearances
