Candice Huffine is a former teenage beauty queen that signed her first modeling commercial contract in 2000, since then she has been able to cross over to the world of high fashion. She is known for fighting for inclusivity and reducing barriers in the fashion industry. Huffine has an A-list work history, in 2011 she was cast alongside top models Robyn Lawley and Tara Lynn for the cover of Vogue Italia. Her featured publications don’t stop there, she has been in CR Fashion Book, Vogue, V Magazine, i-D, Glamour, and many more. In 2015 she became the first plus-size model to be featured in the Pirelli Calendar and in that same year, The Washington Post called her “The Model Redefining High Fashion". Huffine has a passion for sports, especially running. In 2016 she founded Project Start, a collab with Women’s Running Magazine that encourages and inspires women to begin their running journey. Also, she founded an inclusive activewear brand “DAY/WON Activewear”.
